Zipper Success Stories
Saturday's Zippy Bag class was a success for 5 awesome ladies. The smiles on their faces made me so happy! They tackled zippers like champs, most even had to load their own zipper heads because they bravely tried the zipper tape options. They eagerly tried my pattern hack of using the 1/4 inch dritz wash away tape to build the bag faster with less stitches. They taught me a few things too! Like a way to use the edge of a table to help you manage a bulky seam press when an iron isn't an option. Teaching classes like this is a passion project of mine, I really enjoy being a part of a group creating such beautiful things. The conversations, the learning moments, the delight, even the heartbreak of having to use Jack the Ripper, is all such a wonderful part of the journey. My soul is full today and the world has 5 new wonderful bags in it. :) Let's do it again!!!
